The Botany Department, established in 2017, is committed to excellence in plant sciences. The department boasts a team of four skilled faculty members, three of whom hold Ph.D. degrees, ensuring high-quality education and research guidance. It is equipped with a well-furnished laboratory, providing students with hands-on practical experience in plant biology, physiology, and biotechnology. The department emphasizes both theoretical and applied aspects of botany, fostering research and innovation in plant science, conservation, and sustainable agriculture.
- To foster a culture of learning by teaching students the fundamentals of plant science, its associated fields, and developing innovations that will benefit the country and science
- To conduct innovative and fundamental research, teaching and outreach on the designs and processes of life with a focus on plants and their environments.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to our department, which has been dedicated to excellence in plant sciences since its establishment in 2017. Our department is committed to fostering a deep understanding of plant life and its applications in various fields, including agriculture, biotechnology, and environmental conservation.
