The Department of Physics at North Bengal St. Xavier’s College (NBSXC) is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and scientific inquiry. Established in 2010, the department initially offered a B.Sc. General course in Physics and has since expanded its curriculum to include a 4-year Honours program with Physics as a Major and a 4-year Honours program with a Multidisciplinary approach.
Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and an enriched seminar library, the department provides students with a strong foundation in both theoretical and experimental physics. A team of highly qualified and dedicated faculty members ensures a rigorous and engaging learning environment, encouraging research, innovation, and analytical thinking.
